Chainlink CCIP v1.5 is now live on mainnet.
As part of this masterclass, you’ll deploy your own CCT, register it, and configure its token pools across multiple chains.
CCIP v1.5 marks the highly anticipated launch of the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, which gives developers the power to deploy, configure, and manage their token pools in CCIP in a completely self-serve manner.
The upgrade also includes the CCIP Token Manager—a streamlined UI for developers to launch and manage CCTs, including no-code guided deployments and configuration tools.
Importantly, CCTs do not require token developers to inherit any CCIP-specific code within their token’s smart contract. Token developers can deploy pre-audited token pool contracts to turn any ERC20-compatible token into a CCT or deploy their own custom token pool contracts for custom token use cases.
